The Long Point Win Farm is a planned wind energy generation project that would help contribute to secure and sustainable energy future in Coconino County, Arizona. This project would help meet Arizona’s rapidly growing energy needs by delivering reliable power as part of a diverse energy mix. As a company dedicated to developing and delivering innovative energy solutions with long-term impact, our projects create jobs, build community partnerships, generate revenue for local governments and schools, and protect the environment.

Project details

Sited on approximately 31,600 acres of privately owned land and 1,225 acres of Arizona State Trust land
Supports preservation of large tracts of cattle ranchland under the long-standing stewardship of Arizona ranching families
AES will be the long-term owner and operator of the facility
At the end of the project's life, a decommissioning plan will be implemented to remove project infrastructure

Wildlife Survey Plan: Completed in consultation with AZGFD and USFWS Region 2
Wildlife Site Characterization Report: Last updated September 2026
Avian Wildlife Surveys: Completed; includes avian/eagle use counts, raptor/eagle nest surveys, fall raptor migration surveys, and bat acoustic monitoring
Wetlands/Jurisdictional Water Surveys: Desktop review completed
