LNG fuel supply

We develop, own and operate Liquefied Natural Gas infrastructure to supply cost-effective, lower-carbon fuel alternative for industries, transportation and power generation. It offers high energy density, flexible supply options and significant emissions reductions compared to coal or diesel.

Natural gas generation

We provide flexible and efficient, gas-fired power generation as a lower-carbon alternative to coal with stability and dispatchability. This solution supports grid reliability while integrating with intermittent renewable energy sources, enabling businesses to transition towards an overall cleaner energy mix.

LNG bunkering

Bunkering provides LNG as a marine fuel for ships, reducing emissions and meeting international maritime regulations, providing shipping companies with a cleaner, compliant alternative to traditional fuels.

A cleaner energy future for the DR:
AES and Energas lead the way

Energas and AES Dominicana formed a joint venture, Energía Natural Dominicana (EnaDom), to reduce the Dominican Republic's reliance on oil by converting existing power generation facilities to natural gas. This collaboration led to the conversion of the 300-MW San Pedro de Macorís Electricity Company (CESPM) plant from diesel to natural gas completed in 2020, contributing to a cleaner and more resilient energy grid where LNG went from suppling approximately 24% of the country’s energy matrix in 2019 to approximately 41% in 2024. The initiative is projected to save the nation $3 billion over ten years and eliminate approximately 892,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
