Empowering Women to Transform Communities

The AES Dominicana Foundation, in partnership with the Supérate program, drives a path of growth and autonomy for women in the communities where it operates. Through this collaboration, new opportunities are created for each participant to strengthen her skills, discover new possibilities, and envision a brighter future for herself and her family.
The Mujeres SuperEmprendedoras program has provided guidance, training, and tools that allow participants to turn their ideas into sustainable projects. More than just a training initiative, it has become a space of inspiration, mutual support, and trust in the potential of every woman.
Today, this commitment continues to expand, reaching new provinces and multiplying its impact. With every workshop, meeting, and follow-up visit, stories of resilience and entrepreneurship emerge—stories that go beyond the individual to become engines of community transformation and sustainable development.

Entrepreneurship that Drives Transformation

Entrepreneurship that Drives Transformation

Fundación AES Dominicana, in partnership with The Trust for the Americas, has developed a program that strengthens the entrepreneurial spirit in the communities surrounding its power generation plants. This initiative provides training, mentorship, and opportunities that allow participants to turn ideas into sustainable projects, creating a positive impact on their families and communities.

Training for a Sustainable Future

More than a series of workshops, this program represents a pathway to empowerment and growth. Through training and personalized mentoring, entrepreneurs acquire the tools to innovate, adapt to changing market dynamics, and grow their businesses with vision. It fosters leadership, equal opportunities, and the ability to thrive in an increasingly digital and connected world.

A Commitment to Communities

Over time, this alliance has proven that investing in education and entrepreneurship is a powerful driver of collective progress. Communities such as San Antonio de Guerra, Boca Chica, La Caleta, and Los Mina are already part of this transformation, where knowledge becomes a force for development and a legacy of well-being for all.

An Alliance that Nurtures Talent

Fundación AES Dominicana, together with Berklee College of Music, the National Conservatory of Music, the Ministry of Culture, and EGE Itabo, has created an alliance that marks a turning point in the country’s musical education. This effort connects the power of education with the transformative force of music, fostering an inclusive space where Dominican youth can develop their talent with world-class tools.

Music Education for a Sustainable Future

Music, much like energy, flows through every dimension of human development. Through programs such as Berklee in Santo Domingo, students are encouraged to think critically, embrace creativity, and drive innovation—pillars essential for building a strong and sustainable orange economy. This initiative, backed by Fundación AES Dominicana, aligns with Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 17 by promoting quality education and strengthening strategic partnerships for the benefit of society.

Impact that Transcends Borders

Thanks to this collaboration, hundreds of young people have found opportunities that transform their lives and their communities. Many are already standing out on international stages, proving that Dominican talent has a place in the world when given support and excellence in training. Fundación AES Dominicana thus reaffirms its commitment to investing in culture and education as engines of collective progress and sustainability.

Every year, renowned professors from Berklee College of Music travel to Santo Domingo to lead an intensive week of training for more than two hundred students. During this unique experience, young participants receive instruction in theory, improvisation, ensembles, auditions, and instruments, guided by international professors and distinguished alumni.

In addition to making Berklee in Santo Domingo possible, Fundación AES Dominicana, together with other institutions, awards summer scholarships that boost the professional development of participants and serve as a springboard to new academic and artistic opportunities.
