AES Chile generates and sells energy with the mission of accelerating the future of energy, together. The company operates 3,599 MW in the country along with a broad portfolio of renewable energy projects under construction and under development. We are one of the main power generation companies, with a diversified portfolio that includes hydroelectric, wind, solar, energy storage and coal facilities, as well as water desalination plants and transmission lines.

Local impact

Our social investment strategy aims to guide our work in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that impact local development, such as quality education, decent work and economic growth, and sustainable cities and communities. Transversally, we work to reduce gender inequality and seek partnerships to achieve the implementation of our objectives.
Through participatory funding and specialized programs, we work in three pillars areas of action:

Education and technical training / social investment: With the aim of providing concrete tools to strengthen employability and labor reconversion.

Contributing to local development / economic entrepreneurship of mutual interest
We develop partnerships with educational centers and local governments to create programs in strategic areas for local development, such as applied english for tourism, support for entrepreneurship and investment promotion, labor Inclusion techniques, circular economy and financial education, among others.

Development of community infrastructure projects / improving quality of life through the recovery of public spaces.
By generating public-private partnerships, we participate in community infrastructure projects that directly benefit our neighbors.
