Bringing energy to Argentina

AES Argentina is focused on power generation in Argentina. We operate a diverse portfolio of power plants, including hydro, thermal and wind facilities, with a total installed capacity of 3, 644 MW. AES Argentina is also a leader in renewable energy, particularly wind power, and is actively working towards a more sustainable energy matrix for the country.

Building partnerships to strengthen communities

We believe in being a good neighbor, ensuring responsible renewable energy development that benefits both the environment and local communities. That’s why we partner with communities to see how we can best work together to support sustainable social and economic development.

Local impact

We are all in need of more sustainable solutions to power our lives and our world. Strong partnerships allow us to work together to integrate innovative energy solutions, develop positive social impact programs, and create long-term value within the communities.

In 2011, the team began an initiative to hold educational workshops and share their energy knowledge and raise awareness in sustainable development. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on “Quality education.”

AES Argentina hires women to work in various technical, operational and administrative roles during the different construction and operation stages. This is part of the successful “Mujeres Con Energía” campaign to hire women across the operations and maintenance. Today, AES Argentina has women in both technical and administrative areas, from entry-level positions to management. ”
