Inderpal S. Bhandari has been a director of AES since January 2024 and serves as a member of the Innovation and Technology Committee of the Board.

Mr. Bhandari is the former Global Chief Data Officer for International Business Machine Corporation (IBM) where he led IBM’s global data strategy. He spent more than 20 years working in the healthcare industry including at Cambia Health Solutions as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer and at Express Scripts / Medco Health Solutions as Vice President of Knowledge Solutions and Chief Data Officer.

Mr. Bhandari holds a BTECH, Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, an MS with a major in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a PhD with a major in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
