Employees of AES’ TPP in Galabovo organized the charity initiative Angels’ Tree for the 13th consecutive year
The initiative supported 223 children with warm clothes and shoes on the occasion of Christmas
223 children from the town of Galabovo received gifts from the voluntary initiative Angels’ Tree organized by AES’ TPP in Galabovo. For the 13th consecutive year, on the eve of the Christmas holidays, AES Bulgaria and its employees gifted the children warm clothes and shoes. The youngsters from Galabovo’s three schools and the school in the village of Obruchishte enjoyed a party held at the Youth Center in Galabovo.
‘Taking care of the communities where AES operates has always been among the company’s priorities. The funds, allocated by AES Bulgaria for the wellbeing of people in the regions of Galabovo and Kavarna and invested in various socially important projects, surpass BGN 15 million’, Ivan Tzankov, Managing Director of AES Bulgaria said.
‘I am happy that my colleagues keep on doing good and supporting those in need despite the troubled times we are living in. I am honored that the employees of AES’ TPP in Galabovo have contributed for the 13th year in a row so that disadvantaged children in Galabovo have a warmer and happier Christmas’, Mariana Gerenova, Complex Manager of AES Bulgaria said.
