The Project Resource Analyst is responsible for supporting engineering and project management in the requirements to design, construct, and operate the Company’s substation, transmission, and distribution facilities safely, reliably, and economically. Specifically, responsible for supporting the engineering and project management groups in such things as the SAP project sequencing and major material/equipment procurement and tracking.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Engineering groups, Project Development, and the PMO to order major material and equipment needed for projects.
- Responsible to coordinate with Supply Chain to order material and equipment as needed.
- Responsible for tracking all orders from time of purchase to delivery for individual projects. Ensures POs are set up correctly and vendors receive POs.
- Responsible for tracking receipt of material and equipment and track payments to vendors.
- Responsible for tracking monthly services and goods received but not yet invoiced or paid by vendor and project.
- Responsible for supporting Engineering groups, Project Development, and the PMO in setting up and closing specific projects in SAP and PowerPlan.
- Ensures budgets for projects are set up and funded appropriately in SAP.
- Transfers costs between projects in SAP as needed.
- Completes necessary steps in SAP and PowerPlan upon project completion to ensure budgets are correct and assets are accounted for.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- Candidates must be proficient in the use of multiple functions within SAP and PowerPlan.
- 5-10 years of experience preferred.
