Responsible for general and specific assignments involving extensive knowledge of the Joint Use and Pricing and Invoicing processes. Duties will require detailed communications with customers as well as Joint Use attaching entities and contractors, monitoring Joint Use construction and payment activities. Also requires managing the residential payment plan process, creating invoices and processing payments. Duties include having knowledge of PUCO guidelines and timelines and the ability to devise new approaches to processes in an effort to increase efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Train new Construction Specialist personnel and consider process improvements.
- Track the Business As Usual (BAU) proposals and work with the contractor(s) to ensure PUCO timelines are being met.
- Communicate with BAU customers regarding attaching activity.
- Modify SPANS to accommodate per unit pricing from contractors.
- Work with contractors on invoice submittals to ensure accuracy.
- Work with phone companies and PUCO office to help resolve specific customer issues that arise.
- Receive and process customer payments (includes creating and sending all deposit information and backup documentation to cash receipts and cash applications).
- Work in SAP/Graphic Work Design tools.
- Manage customer related concerns regarding invoices.
- Monitor and track contractor hours.
- Perform other similar work as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency with SAP is preferred.
- Knowledge of SPANS is preferred.
- Established individual contributor with limited autonomy in daily work.
- Acquires additional skills through experience, peer interaction and formal training.
