SOLAR POWER IN WISCONSIN

Isabelle Creek solar

in development

The Isabelle Creek solar project is helping to build a secure and sustainable energy future in the Town of Hartland, Pierce County, Wisconsin. As a company dedicated to developing and delivering innovative energy solutions with long-term impact, our projects create jobs, build community partnerships, generate revenue for local governments and schools, and protect the environment.

Project details

  • The project will likely lease around 1,000 acres due to forested areas and other areas of avoidance, but aims for 550 buildable acres of privately-owned land for the project. This is equivalent to .4% of farmland in Pierce County, Wisconsin.
  • At the end of the project's life, a decommissioning plan allows for the land to return to agricultural use or other uses consistent with land-use policies at the time.

Clean energy benefits local communities

  • Long-term revenue to counties and towns
  • Job creation during construction and operation
  • Landowner income diversification, keeping land in the family
  • Local economic stimulus during construction
  • Affordable, reliable, locally produced clean energy
  • Improved air quality and reduced CO2 emissions
  • Social impact funding to area community organizations and non-profits
  • Non-permanent development and low-impact construction that ensures land can be sensitively restored to pre-project conditions at the end of the project’s life
