The AES Clean Energy finance team seeks an entry-level FP&A Analyst. This position will focus on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on renewable power plants in development and construction. 

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for working with various departments to acquire, analyze, and model information and assumptions. The position will play a key role in the Company’s monthly reporting process. Sound judgment, ingenuity, excellent problem solving, organizational skills and a proactive demeanor will position the successful candidate to earn an exciting opportunity with this fast-growing company. 
 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Prepare the Company’s annual budget and monthly forecasts for assets assigned 

• Responsible for collaborating across the organization to develop and vet sound business assumptions. 

• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure timely flow of critical data 

• Build relationships with Valuations and Investments, Project Finance, and other teams to maintain high quality project models  

• Support other ad-hoc initiatives as required

Requirements:  

• Taken at least intermediate accounting in school  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting preferred 

• Fluent in English
