IPL Golden Eagle Grants provide funds for projects that will preserve, protect, enhance, or restore environmental and biological resources throughout IPL's operating territory. IPL has provided these grants since 1993. For a list of 2009 recipients, click here.
Mission Statement
IPL will provide financial grants to not-for-profit organizations and governmental units for projects that will preserve, protect, enhance or restore environmental and biological resources throughout IPL's operating territory.
Eligibility
Any unit of Indiana local or state government (including park boards, park and recreation departments, schools, state parks, etc.) that are in IPL's operating territory* are eligible to apply for a grant.
Any legally constituted not-for-profit agency or organization (as determined by the IRS or the Indiana Secretary of State) and/or any of their chapters or sub-units within IPL's operating territory*.
*IPL's operating territory consists of the following counties: Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Morgan, Boone, Hancock, Shelby and Pike.
